what you ask of me today…

Protect me, Lord, while I’m awake
and watch over me while I sleep
that awake, I might keep watch with you
and asleep, rest in your peace…
One of those nights when it wasn’t easy to find a song to pair with my prayer, but I think this setting of Micah 6:8 comes close…
