That’s hard for me to believe, Lord
– but I know you always tell the truth…
And if you love the sound of my voice
– I‘m afraid you probably don’t hear it
near as often as you might like…
So, keep me faithful, Lord,
to always making time to pray
even if I’m always saying
things you know I’m going to say
long before I say them…
Help me remember, Lord:
you turn your ear to me
not for information
but simply because
you love the sound of my voice…
