from the simple joys and blessings
you’ll offer me today…
What a crying shame that would be…
So, help me see
that in the hardest times
you don’t hold back but rather multiply
the ways you care for me…
Let nothing keep me, Lord,
from sensing, finding, seeing, hearing,
tasting, touching, knowing and enjoying
your gifts for me today…
Though this day may have its troubles, Lord,
let nothing keep me far
from the peace, delights and blessings
that come my way – today…
