People often ask us to pray for them…
with the people I pray for today…
You know who they are and you what they need
and you don’t need me
to remind you…
But there’s something’s sacred
in saying aloud the names of those
who’ve asked me to pray for them…
There’s something holy
in whispering to you
what they once whispered to me…
And there’s something graced
in simply remembering
the prayer I saw in their eyes…
